About Prestwick Speechmasters

The club goes back to 1954 under the name of Prestwick Toastmasters Club and was renamed the Prestwick Speechmasters Club in 1973.

What do we hope to get out of being a member? Just think of being a guest at a function and the pleasure you would get from being able to stand up in front of everyone to thank your host for their kind invitation. Or you may wish to have the ability to confidently propose a toast at a relative's wedding and express sincere wishes. You will learn this and more by regular attendance. If you make a mistake in any given task you are surrounded by friends who are there to help - we have all made them.

Why not come along yourself, or with company, and receive a warm welcome to the club. Enjoy the evening, the chat and a coffee. Soak up the atmosphere and take notes of the evening's content.

In our recent history we have been celebrating our 50th anniversary, been the subject of a BBC radio program and featured in the Ayrshire Magazine.

In the end you might decide it is not for you but how will you know if you don't come along. You can expect a warm welcome and we look forward to seeing you on the night.
